LIVEBUY offers animated thumbnails for Clips to create more engaging previews in widgets and carousels. There are two ways animated thumbnails can be generated: for a single clip or for all clips in your shop.
Important: Currently, it is not possible to configure animated clip thumbnails on your own in the dashboard. All configurations must be handled by the LIVEBUY team.
Single Clip
For individual clips, a specific time within the video can be defined to generate the animated thumbnail.
Example:
Create an animated thumbnail for clip 11123 starting at 1:17.
If you would like to change the start time of the animated thumbnail for a specific clip, please contact the LIVEBUY team.
All Clips
You can also define how animated thumbnails are generated globally for all clips in your shop. One of the following options can be selected:
Start
The animation is generated from the beginning of the clip.
Example:
For a 20-second clip with a 4-second animation, the animation runs from 0:00 to 0:04.
Middle
The animation is generated from the middle of the clip.
Example:
For a 20-second clip with a 4-second animation, the animation runs from 0:10 to 0:14.
End
The animation is generated from the end of the clip.
Example:
For a 20-second clip with a 4-second animation, the animation runs from 0:16 to 0:20.
Flex
Similar to Middle, but the animation is distributed equally toward the beginning and the end of the clip.
Example:
For a 20-second clip with a 4-second animation, the animation runs from 0:08 to 0:12.
