Do not exit the app
Once you’re live, be careful not to exit the LIVEBUY Creator App by pressing the home or power button of your device or by switching to another app. Also, do not access your device’s quick settings or notification centre.
Make sure that the LIVEBUY Creator App is always in the foreground of your device, otherwise, the stream might freeze or end abruptly.
Live On-Air
As soon as you tap the “Start” button, you are live on-air and your show is broadcast to potentially hundreds of people.
Tip: Be mindful of what you say and do in front of the camera
Welcoming your viewers
Now that your show is live, viewers will join in to watch. Typically, it takes a few moments for the first viewers to arrive. Therefore, we recommend starting off your show with small talk to welcome everyone. The counter at the top shows you how many viewers are watching.
Highlighting products for your viewers
This feature makes your products more accessible to your audience. A small preview image with a price tag brings the viewer one step closer to proceeding to purchase. For more info, click here.
Chatting with your viewers
Viewers will be able to send you messages in the live stream. Messages appear in the lower half of your screen as they come in.
You can scroll through messages if it goes too fast to read previous messages at all times. To answer the questions, simply speak to them via the live video.
Streaming delay
Be aware that it can take 10-20 seconds for the video signal to reach your viewers when you’re streaming. This short delay is not noticeable to your viewers at all, but you should have that in mind if you feel that viewers are sending chat messages about things that you did in front of the camera a few seconds ago.
Ending your show
You can end your show at any time by tapping on the End Show button at the bottom of your screen. Be careful not to tap on that button accidentally, because it will end the show. Because of the brief delay (10-20 seconds) that takes the video signal to reach your viewers, we recommend that you wait a few seconds before you tap on End Show after you’ve said goodbye to your viewers.
SOS – something went wrong
- Should something go wrong despite all precautions and preparations, there's no need to panic.
- If the battery of your phone dies, switch to another device, log in, select the products and continue your show.
- If the LIVEBUY Creator App crashes, restart it, select the products and start a new show.
- If you accidentally end the stream prematurely, tap on Start again to start a new show. Your viewers will be able to continue watching after a quick refresh.
