From the dashboard, you can join a show as a moderator to help manage the chat and products. A few features are available when joining a show as a moderator:
- Your messages in the chat are highlighted
- Pin important messages (e.g., a promo code)
- Highlight products during the live show
- Answer questions to users in the chat
- Add links
- Answer questions in the chat.
- Ban viewers with unfriendly behaviour.
Joining a show as a moderator
- Log into the Livebuy dashboard and select a running live show.
- Select Open Player
- Click the chat and choose a name
Highlight products
When you watch a show as a moderator, you will see a box next to the video with all the products selected for that show. You can select and deselect up to three products by tapping on them.

Post your response questions in the chat
When you tap a chat message as a moderator, you can select "Reply" to post an answer to that question. Viewers will then see a direct link between the question and the answer.
Banning users
- Tap on the nickname of a viewer you want to ban
- Select the "ban" option
The viewer will be "shadow banned". He will still be able to watch, read and write but his messages won't be visible to other viewers anymore.
Pinning messages
You can highlight show information or a discount code by pinning one of your messages.
Either select the pin-icon when sending a message to highlight it immediately. Or tap on one of your previous messages and select the pin icon to make it stick. Tap the icon again to unpin the message.
Adding links
When you tap the question mark "?" icon as a moderator, you can add external and internal links to a text message. Either highlight a selection of the text to which you want to add a link or enter a new one. The link will open in new tab.
