The LIVEBUY Widget can display access points to shows and clips in your shop. It automatically fetches new content as soon as it's available. You can combine various Widgets to build a media library for all your content. For example, it can display all scheduled shows or all replays of past shows.
Create a Widget
To create a widget, select Widgets from the navigation bar on the left side. Then, click on the +New widget button on the top-right. Additionally, you can select an existing widget to change its configuration.
Configuration
Widget Name
Select a name for your widget for later reference. It won't be displayed anywhere in your shop. e.g. "Planned shows" & "Replays"
Type of shows
Select what types of content should display in your widget.
You can choose between a combination of:
- Live shows
- Planned shows
- Replays
- Clips
Creator Content
You can show or exclude content from selected creators.
Tags
You can reduce the content shown to match certain tags. Add the tags you want to include for shows to be filtered out.
Note: Widgets are created and configured on the Dashboard. Therefore, access to the Dashboard is required.
Add the Widget to Your Website
After creating a widget and its configuration is added and saved, a code snippet is created that you or your development team embed on your company website and display it, anywhere on your shop where the LIVEBUY SDK is also installed (more details here).
You can dynamically change a widget's content from the Dashboard. The code of a widget is unique and doesn't change, even when updating the widget configuration on the Dashboard.
